Why We Give

“Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:8-10 NKJV

Thank you for making a commitment to God, and His church, through your tithes and offerings! When we give our finances to the Lord as part of our worship, we establish a foundation of confidence in His provision for our lives. Giving our tithe to God honors Him as the source of our supply and is a demonstration of our faith.  Make a commitment to your giving and experience His blessing!

ACH WITHDRAWL FORM

Use our Authorization for Fixed Withdrawals Form (this form should only be used for reoccurring, fixed withdrawals on a weekly or monthly basis). Once completed, drop the form in the offering plate, fax it to Sheri at 248.391.3788, or mail it to Mt. Zion Church, Attn: Sheri, 4900 Maybee Road, Clarkston, MI 48348.

Debit Card / Credit Card

Did you know that digital giving, although convenient, costs churches a lot of money. That’s because when you give online the processor takes their cut. While this is normal and legal business practice, it does mean that not all of your tithes and offerings actually go to Mt Zion Church. One way you can help is to cover the transaction costs by simply adding an additional 3% of the total amount you want to give. Even better, you could use Zelle or PayPal to give and neither you nor Mt Zion will pay any fees. Thank you so much for giving!

The first time you go to AmazonSmile, it will ask you to choose your charitable organization. You only have to do this once. You may use your amazon.com account and password information to login to AmazonSmile. You do not need to create a separate account.

AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service. You must purchase through AmazonSmile in order for Mt Zion to receive the donation. Thank you for your support!

KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Kroger Community Rewards program this past year–Mt Zion received nearly $3,000!

The NEW year begins on May 1, 2020; in order for Mt Zion to benefit again this upcoming year, all participants must sign up again AFTER April 1, 2020 (even if you signed up last year). Please follow the registration process below.

Click here to sign in to your Kroger account. If you do not have a Kroger account, you will need to create one using the number on your Kroger Plus Card. Once you have created your account, sign in to select our organization under “Community Rewards Information”. You will have the option to search for our organization–just type in Mt. Zion Temple (MUST include the period in “Mt.”) or provide our organization number (84957), select us from the list, and click “Save Changes”.

Once enrolled, Mt Zion will receive a percentage of your shopping purchases for the next year at no cost to you! Again, we thank you for your support this past year and look forward to another successful year of participation in the program.

Please Note: You can check the bottom of your receipt to make sure that you are still giving to Mt Zion–it will say:

1. Kroger Community Rewards
2. At your request, Kroger is donating to: Mt. Zion Temple
